Javotte

Dark humor, drag and bad faith: Javotte Tremaine defends herself… in her own way.

From the Cinderella myth emerges a voice never before heard: that of Javotte Tremaine. Locked in a dungeon and accused of murdering her mother and sister, she finally tells her side of the story. Between delirious confessions, blatant bad faith, and hazy memories, Javotte transforms her cell into a stage and her audience into a jury.

In this explosive drag solo, Pamela Torch embodies a flamboyant, fragile, monstrous, and terribly human heroine. The show navigates between dark comedy, offbeat cabaret, queer storytelling, and a ferocious subversion of the original fairy tale.
