I Muvrini is a diamond, a rough diamond.
Their lineage is none other than that of a "Source-Earth," their land that they constantly connect to all the particulars of the world, to everything that gives the world a soul. I Muvrini is a breath of soul.

Like a small, uninterrupted stream, they grow by defying this devastation, this sectarianism through the contempt for small languages, assigned to appear exotic, or to remain silent, confined to an exaggerated reference to folklore, or even to a tradition. By singing in one of these marginalized, forbidden, diminished languages, I Muvrini open a circle that seemed impossible, they break down barriers. They reach out to those who do not yet understand that the world is inhabited by the diversity and plurality of our cultures. Far from art for art's sake, I Muvrini cultivate art for life. Their poetics is that of anger which adds to action, to imagination, to the artist concerned by the state of the world.
With their best-of Avà e preferite, I Muvrini retraces their rich career in 2 CDs and 31 songs: a 1st disc with a selection of their best 'solo' songs, and a 2nd disc bringing together some of the most beautiful duets recorded by the Corsican group.
These 31 songs symbolize the great journey that has allowed I Muvrini to forge this unique bond with the public for more than 40 years, and to raise their voices with wonderful artists for an even greater harmony: Véronique Sanson, Tina Arena, Luz Cazal, Sting, Grand Corps Malade, MC Solaar, Thomas Dutronc, the Polyphonies Hébraïques, the 500 Choristes… and the young singers of a Corsican college for 2 new tracks.
