Frédéric Pabst et Philippe Turco – « Poésie de l’instant »
Chapelle Saint-Michel Place des Corps Saints 84000 Avignon
One place, two artists: Frédéric Pabst, who has been painting various figurative subjects in oil for over ten years; Philippe Turco is a photographer.
Frédéric Pabst studied at the Academy of Arts in Avignon and at the Avignon Passion d'art workshop.
It draws inspiration from photos taken while travelling, by the sea and pays homage to various contemporary painters.
A common thread: light on bodies, often with water and its reflections as partners.
Philippe Turco studied photography at the Studio M school in Montpellier.
Etymologically, the word photography means "writing with light".
He likes to play with this writing, using the magic of light to create his pictorial poetry, a universe dedicated to the praise of femininity.
He defines himself as "an image maker".
