Fl4menca – 4 femmes flamencas
Théâtre du Balcon 38, rue Guillaume Puy 84000 Avignon
A female quartet that reinvents flamenco with passion and modernity, inviting you on an unforgettable musical and visual journey.
The female quartet Fl4menca deploys a huge impulse that stands out for the interpretation of a traditional flamenco, as well as for original and colorful compositions, a natural reflection of the influences that coexist between the four artists.
Eager to create their own artistic identity, their program is shaped in such a way that the common thread rests on the union between musical harmony and choreographic coherence, which makes it an argument in itself, both fundamental and powerful.
In this same perspective, they opt for a visual aspect in accordance with their artistic line and their characters: dressed in red, a color very widely associated with flamenco and femininity, certainly, but with a modern, current, elegant and refined style.
Nested in two harmonically and rhythmically distinct parts, they interweave these different flamenco “palos” (styles) in such a way as to offer a continuity that transports the spectator on a journey that is both musical and visual.
As part of the 25th Andalusian Festival.
