A major free popular event open to all musicians, amateurs and professionals alike, the Fête de la Musique celebrates live music and highlights the breadth and diversity of musical practices, as well as all musical genres.
The Fête de la Musique was set on a single, symbolic date: June 21, the day of the summer solstice.
It is aimed at all audiences and helps to familiarize young and old people of all social backgrounds with all forms of musical expression.
On the program: Jazz, Rap, DJ set, African percussion, choirs, urban pop, Batucada, reggae or rock, there really is something for everyone.
