This is the story of Theseus caught in the labyrinth of memory, searching for a possible future. After his brother's suicide and the death of his parents, he leaves "the city of the West" for a destination he believes to be devoid of memory, carrying three boxes of archives. But he is pursued by what he is fleeing.
