Exposition «Teranga : les liens invisibles»

Espace du Lavoir, place du Petit Pont 84270 Vedène

Exhibition

The Espace du Lavoir welcomes photographer Guy Barbacetto. Through his photographs of Senegal, he captures the country's legendary hospitality, from the Atlantic coast and Gorée Island to Dakar and village life. Opening reception on Tuesday, August 25th at 18:30 pm.

From Monday, August 24th to Friday, September 11th, the Espace du Lavoir will be transformed into a window onto Senegal with the photographic exhibition "Teranga: Invisible Bonds" by Guy Barbacetto. Teranga, the legendary hospitality that defines the soul of the country, is at the heart of this sensory and human journey: the vibrant atmosphere of the M'bour market, the contrast between Gorée Island and the energy of Dakar, the poetry of villages and the conversations held under the baobab trees. Beyond the landscapes, the photographer seeks to capture the glances and smiles that constitute the richness of the Senegalese people.
