The artist explores the immaterial and sensory world of optics, both strange and wondrous, creating abstract, scenic spaces where rapture, surprise, illusion, and contemplation unfold in turn. His practice leads him to the birthplace of images: an uncertain space composed partly of matter, light, and vibrations, and partly of our projections that form in our minds, capturing here or there a nebula, a monster, a twilight. It is about experiencing a unique perceptual journey, a suspended moment, setting aside our certainties about the world around us.
