Exposition de la Mac'A – "Animalia"
Eglise des Célestins place des Corps Saints 84000 Avignon
As the mass extinction of species continues, artists are reinventing their relationship with animals. Through this exhibition, the MAC'A explores how contemporary art renews our perspective on living things.
Paintings, installations, sculptures, drawings, engravings…
A sensitive and inquisitive journey into the heart of the animal world, guided by five artists who explore our relationship with the wild, the fragility of life, and the place we share with it. Their perspective, by turns poetic and incisive, reveals the beauty, fragility, and power of all that lives. An invitation to rethink the boundaries that separate—or connect—nature and humanity.
The artists :
Daniela Montecinos – drawing and painting Didier Hamey – engraving
Francisco Sepúlveda – painting and sculpture; Julien Allègre – sculpture
Ruta Jusionyte – painting and sculpture
