A copy of Albert Cohen's book, Belle du Seigneur, enters the harsh daily lives of three women in prison (a guard, two fellow inmates).
The book takes hold of wounded hearts and reveals buried desires. Then the prisoners fly freely on the wings of other characters, to unimaginable heights.
Can we live without fascination?
The Compagnie La Vie Moderne offers its own interpretation of Belle du Seigneur.
