Et pourtant le soleil se lève
Théâtre des Doms 1 bis, rue des escaliers Sainte-Anne 84000 Avignon
An intimate and satirical exploration of what we demand of ourselves in order to belong to the world.
After the death of an actor friend, Damien Trapletti wonders what makes a man lose faith in life and, by extension, what beliefs our society requires to belong to it.
On stage, he tells this story, embodying the voices of those around him and revealing the dominant narratives that structure our society: success, money, performance, isolation. The death act acts as a catalyst, highlighting our contradictions and illusions. In this mirror-like theatre, each character becomes a symbol, each word questions our values.
Between laughter and vertigo, a show that questions our illusions and forces us to confront what we truly believe in.
Residency performance – Free entry upon reservation.
