Héloïse Ravet takes a painful family history and transforms it into a theatrical experience. During this residency, she opens the doors to her writing, exploring the daydreams, violence, and multiple lives of her sister, a drug addict since
more than twenty-five years.
Exhausting the Suns navigates between personal archives, theatre, and performance. It's an intimate and sensitive look at a life that defies conventions, refusing to be defined by its vulnerabilities. A performance that seeks less to understand than to hear and give voice to this mysterious and moving presence, already hinting at the vitality and strength of an existence that refuses to be silenced. It places the other side of the world at the center, without resorting to misery or tears. A plunge into the complexity of an existence, full of light despite the shadows.
