For his eighth show, Elie Semoun is making a slight shift: stand-up now plays a more prominent role, something new for him. But make no mistake, Cactus remains true to his taste for characters. Among the gallery of his new monsters, you'll meet Jean Abdul, who will be his opening act, a son who takes his father to visit a nursing home, Xavier, the physically disabled person who introduces his wife to his mother, a father confronting his son's transition, a racist karate teacher, and a biting look at sexual harassment and religion.
