To celebrate the centenary of the creation of Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, the Jatekok Duo explores the notions of constraints and freedom, in society, history, but also in musical writing itself.
Intense and contrasting, also featuring works by Touchard, Rzewski and Zimmerli, the program is an ode to freedom, with the blues as its common thread.
A lively and committed journey, faithful to the artistic identity of the two artists: to create a dialogue between repertoires, to build bridges between eras and to assert a bold musical voice, rooted in its time.
Creative Daycare
While the parents enjoy the show, children aged 5 to 10 also experience their afternoon at the Opera. Supervised by professionals from La Petite Académie – Avignon, they participate in a fun and creative art workshop.
A great way to discover art while having fun… and to allow parents to fully enjoy their outing!
