Domaine du Rayol, jardin des Méditerranées

Located opposite the Îles d'Hyères in the Var region, between Le Lavandou and Saint-Tropez, the Domaine du Rayol comprises 20 hectares of gardens and natural spaces designed by the renowned landscape architect Gilles Clément. This Mediterranean garden invites visitors on a journey through Mediterranean landscapes from around the world, as well as landscapes with more arid or subtropical climates. A recent agreement allows the City to collect plants from the Domaine du Rayol free of charge in exchange for feedback and the return of some of the plants to the estate.
