Danser ensemble
Utopia-Manutention 4, rue Escaliers Ste Anne 84000 Avignon
Dance is an art of sharing. We mostly dance with or for someone, with something, in couples or in groups.
Video dance, by its very nature, consists of an intimate duo between the camera and the dance, between the filming location and the performers who collectively traverse specific landscapes.
The screening will open with a rare diptych by postmodernist Amy Greenfield, who pioneered contact improvisation. It will continue with a video dance by Compagnie Moussoux-Bonté, in which the dance allows the water of a swimming pool to guide the movements and explores the physical contribution, the social connection, and the various facets of "dancing together."
+ MEETING > with Marisa Hayses and Franck Boulègue, co-directors of the Burgundy International Dance Video Festival, after the screening.
