Cycle de musiques sacrées du Festival d'Avignon
Divers lieux 84000 Avignon
A partner of the Avignon Festival since 1967, the association Musique Sacrée et Orgue en Avignon offers a cycle of organ and sacred music concerts which aims to showcase the historical instruments of Avignon and its surrounding region.
This is a true festival of sacred music, original in its style and design, in line with the thinking of Jean Vilar: openness and dialogue, research, welcoming young artists, effort towards a popular audience.
The programmed concerts introduce a wide audience to the variety of sites as well as the beauty of the historical heritage that houses these instruments.
This edition takes place from July 05th to 19th in several municipalities.
