Isabelle Courroy began a project based on oblique flutes in 2014, called Confluences #1.2.3. Today, she is presenting the third installment of this creation on stage.
"A Praise of the Oblique" is an interpretation of pieces commissioned from three contemporary composers, Zad Moultaka, Michel Moglia, and François Wong. These compositions are true explorations of the oblique flute, which leaves plenty of room for improvisation.
