Chicago Today! #2 / The Bridge 2.11

These two-part evenings will feature a discussion between musicians from the Chicago scene and Alexandre Pierrepont, anthropologist and director of the Franco-American exchange program The Bridge, followed by a concert. The second part will be a discussion with Greg Ward and Hélène Labarrière on creative music and the importance of transatlantic relations.

Improvising musicians meet in the world, in real life, to truly be together, to feel and amplify vibrations, to immerse themselves in the same cosmic flow, and then send it back out into the universe. It can't be said enough, so we'll say it again: so-called creative music creates singularity by recreating space-time. Join us for The Bridge 2.11 for a journey to the very heart of improvisation.
