Chapelle Saint-Michel place des Corps Saints 84000 Avignon

Exhibition

In the heart of the Avignon Festival, the Avignon Higher School of Art (ESAA) presents an exhibition dedicated to the works of five post-graduate artists, former students of the institution.

This group exhibition offers a unique perspective on contemporary artistic concerns, through personal approaches that all resonate with the upheavals of our time.
Each artist develops their own universe, while sharing a common sensitivity to the social, political and environmental issues that mark the present.
Taking advantage of the vibrant atmosphere of the Avignon Festival, the event invites festival-goers to discover emerging, demanding, and contemporary art. The exhibited works explore contemporary upheavals and offer sensitive ways of understanding the transformations of our world. This encounter between the Festival and young artists graduating from ESAA underscores the essential role of art schools in nurturing the artists of tomorrow.
The exhibition thus celebrates local artistic vitality and the ability of art to echo the questions of our society.
Through these five unique journeys, the full diversity and audacity of contemporary creation are on display to the Avignon and festival audience.
