This painting workshop explores the dialogue between sound and image. A musician creates rhythms on the djembe, snare drum, and cowbell, inviting participants to discover sonic textures and translate them into shapes, textures, and colors. Inspired by gestural painting, the work is done from a live model in motion, using pastels, inks, watercolors, and fluid paints. Short, dynamic, and expressive poses, set to music, punctuate the session, which concludes with a discussion.
Participants: visual artist, dancer, actress and percussionist.
