Atelier carnet de voyage

Centre du village 84450 Saint-Saturnin-lès-Avignon

A day of travel sketching between Saint-Saturnin-lès-Avignon and Jonquerettes: a walk punctuated by three creative breaks to sketch architecture, vineyards facing Ventoux in watercolor, and enjoy a refreshing stop on the banks of the Sorgue.

Between town and country, the Graille hill blends natural and agricultural landscapes and offers an exceptional 270° view of Avignon and Mont Ventoux. The vegetation is typically Mediterranean: holm oaks, pines, aromatic plants, cade juniper and thyme.
During this walk, we will take three creative breaks to discover the pleasure of capturing the present moment in a travel journal. We will begin with the architecture in the heart of the village of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Avignon: church, square, cafes and village houses.
We will then continue towards the hill and plateau of Jonquerettes, amidst the vineyards, offering a superb panorama of Mont Ventoux. A picnic lunch will allow us to sketch the landscape and use watercolors to enhance our drawings.
We will end this journey at the Pusque bridge, to enjoy the refreshing waters of the Sorgue. This very inspiring place charms with its peaceful atmosphere and pretty bridge.
