Concert

Anna Webber is one of the most important saxophonists of her generation. For this trio, she is accompanied by two talented musicians, Matt Mitchell on piano and John Hollenbeck on drums.

The pieces in this project are heavily rhythmic, embodied in turn by the drums, piano, saxophone, or flute. The three musicians share the roles, solos, and improvisation, with energetic and hypnotic loops for a "hyper jazz" result where the influence of Tim Berne is not far off.

Anna Weber will lead a masterclass reserved for students of the Conservatory of Grand AvignonAuditors welcome.
